malaga diary 2012

Malaga 2012

A small(!) selection of pictures I took in Malaga. I was so obsessed taking pictures of almost every flower I saw or every stop I made when I saw typical spanish streets that it became my daily habit during my stay. I was so amazed by the fried eggplants with honey, I`ve never had them before at a tapas restaurant in Amsterdam, never seen it either. Anyway, it was so good! Spain, I miss you already...

let`s get vertical

Top 3.1 Phillip Lim/ Pants Zara/ Shoes Steve Madden

I already mentioned in an earlier post that I`ve changed my mind about vertical stripes, I love it! It started with a maxi dress, click here continued with this wide vertical stripes pants. This one is from Zara and I love how you can wear it pretty simple and chique with some heels if you keep it monotone. This was my last outfit post from Malaga..but the next one will be from Ibiza!

flowers and the green

Tanktop T by Alexander Wang/ Shorts Moussy/ Shoes Steve Madden/ Headband bought in Harajuku

These pictures were made about one month ago and I definitely miss the meditteranean weather! It`s getting pretty chilly here in Amsterdam, the leaves are touching the ground  and I have to say that I love the scenery of falling leaves and the color of autumn, but lloking at these pictures makes me wanna book a oneway ticket back!

would you mind?

strapless jumpsuit River Island/ Headband Asos

I`m not sure wether to call this a jumpsuit, because it`s pretty...tiny. It`s a piece that you buy and you can`t wait to wear it but need to save it for these kind of vacations. You can`t see it on the pictures but from the back you`ll see two half moons, yes it`s that short..I actually wore this piece in Ibiza when we partied at the closing party of Pacha and from what I`ve seen, nothing is too tiny in Ibiza ;)

interview independent

I totally forgot about this one! This was last year in Japan somewhere in November if I`m correct..
It was an interview about watches of the brand `independent` and I had to give my opinion about which one I would give a man if it was for a present.  It was really fun doing it because  I didn`t have to hesitate about saying what I wanted to. Everyone was so open and had different kind of views, interesting. By the way, on the second picture it looks ike I`m totally disagreeing with something but that wasn`t the case at all (I swear!!).

Thank you houyhnhnm!

colorful marbella

Blouse Zara/ Shorts h&m/ Shoes Steve Madden/ Bag Gucci

Marbella was a place I had to go during our stay in Malaga. The plan was to shop and check out the harbour to have some lunch, well, we did both but what I loved was the old town! I absolutely loved the small streets full with boutiques and tapas restaurants. Bye bye Marbella xx

mediterranean breeze

Top h&m/Shorts Zara/Shoes Steve Madden/Clutch Vintage/Hat Bought in Egypt (old)

I really adore the style of spanish houses, so full with color and full with green. Couldn`t help to take some shots everytime we passed by these kind of houses. We were on our way to have some fresh grilled fish for dinner at the boulevard..and YES it was de-li-cious! Amazing how fish which is only seasoned with some salt can taste so damn good. I love you Spain.

spanish fever

`You can`t buy happiness but you can buy icecream and that`s kinda the same thing`.

From Berlin we`re now heading to Spain! Malaga to be exactly. September was the perfect timing to go, not too many tourists but lot of local people and the weather is still great. Exploring the place with some great gelato is the perfect combo!

berlin diary 2012

Knit 3.1 Phillip Lim/Skirt Jane Norman/Boots Sam Edelman/Fur hat and Bag River Island

Berlin, so close but yet so different from Amsterdam. Dying to get a German Pretzel at a random stand and realizing that you`ll need a drink with it because it`s dry and tastes like old paper belongs to that being in a foreign country feeling too I guess..Then again, the Apfel Strudel was really good!
It was a short trip and except the one night that I spent alone in my hotel room because of a sudden fever it was definitely worth it!
