black-merlion-white

I had this complete white outfit already in my mind to wear when I would visit the merlion park. This blouse and a white jacket on top and white shorts, but the temperature didn`t allow me.. it was too hot and humid to wear the jacket so plans changed and I tried a monotone look which wasn`t a bad idea either.

on the edge

at Marina Bay Sands hotel, Singapore

I left Tokyo last week and spent five very realxing days in Singapore. Now I`m back in Holland, spent quality time with the fam and am finally recovered from the huge jetlag I had. So, time for an update and I have many outfits to post so they are coming very very soon!

dutch sweets

So I had to go to the Ritz Carlton cafe when I saw on the internet that they serve dutch sweets! It was really surprising that these small simple dutch pancakes were turned into cafe sweets. It seems that the chef is Dutch and decided to serve these so called `poffertjes` at the Ritz Carlton cafe. The price is really reasonable too, good for me to go and have some again when I`m homesick. The royal milk tea jam is for my mum!

New in!
Tory Burch Reva Mini-Leopard Printed Ballerina

I have to admit that most of my shoes are high heels and wedges so these flats will help to make my days more comfortable and less painful. I have seen these babies walking around in Tokyo a lot but haven`t seen the leopard print yet, loving them already!

Top h&m/ Shorts Vintage Levi`s/Shoes Sam Edelman/Ray-ban sunglasses

I was so happy to be able to see the cherry blossoms in Japan this year. I went to the yoyogi park in Harajuku where lots of people were drinking while enjoying the `sakura` including me.  I wore a flower print blouse from h&m, I love to wear it with my high waist levi`s.
There is a saying in Japanese which is the title of this post and it means sweet are preferred over flowers and that is what I wanted to show in this picture.
What would you prefer? Sweets or an amazing view like these cherry blossoms? I would say...both!

interview

Trenchcoat (old)/Fringe dress River Island/Black short jacket Zara/Bag SLY/Shoes Steve Madden

I wore this outfit somewhere last week when I went out for shopping. Feels like I haven`t been to my favorite places and shops lately so this day was a day of walk in and walk out of shops and just a little time to have lunch at a cafe (nR table) in Omotesando where they only use organic products and lots of veggies.

By the way, pretty blogger Sunaina interviewed me a while ago. It`s uploaded on her blog, lots of fashionable questions and answers by me so take a look! Click here to go to her blog page!
